Reception Learning Spring 2020

During this strange time, children in our school will all be doing lots of learning at home.

I will post a letter each week, with lots of ideas for activities you can do at home to keep you busy and learning while we are not able to be together at school.

Each week pictures of your home learning can be sent through to me and I will make a slide show, so you can see how your friends are getting on.

I will read aloud and post some stories, poems and perhaps some songs over the coming weeks. And I will point you in the direction of some websites that will help you (and your mums and dads) stay busy.

Some of the things I ask you to do will get you out in the garden... you know how much I love going outside!

Play safety and have fun.

See you all soon,

Miss Collins

Reception

The Reception Class at Dunster First School is taught by Miss Collins.

Mrs Vickery also teaches in Reception, most Tuesdays.

Support assistants are Mrs Nicholls and Mr Hardie.

Mrs Shambrook comes in to hear us read on Tuesdays and Mrs White comes to help on Fridays.

During their time in Reception, the children spend most of their days learning through play and by exploring the world around them. We are always very busy! Below are some photos taken throughout the year that show just some of the exciting things we get up to.
